About
About Edge LAW
We build legal services for Bangladesh that can show their work: the document a fact came from, the section a figure rests on, and the practitioner who signed.
Why we exist
Most people in Bangladesh who need a tax return, a land check or a plain answer about a fine never see a lawyer, and those who do rarely see the reasoning. We think the reasoning is the service. Edge LAW exists to make it visible, affordable and signed by someone accountable.
What we stand on
Accuracy over speed
The engine never rounds twice, never estimates, and refuses to compute when the rule file does not model your situation. Then a practitioner takes over.
Accountability
Nothing is delivered without a recorded human approval. A practitioner's certification carries their registration number, re-checked every year; anything approved without one says so on its face.
Privacy by design
Encryption before storage, blind indexes instead of plain identifiers, an audit log that redacts personal data, and a quick-exit control on sensitive matters.
Bangla first
Every question, line label, citation and note is written in Bangla as well as English, so the person who signs and the person who pays read the same thing.
Who does the work
Registered Income Tax Practitioners
Review and sign income tax returns. Their registration is verified when they join and re-checked annually.
Enrolled advocates
Review and sign land reports, traffic guides and family guides, and offer consultations on the marketplace.
The platform team
Maintains the rule files with their sources, the law corpus and the engine, and never marks a rule file verified without a practitioner's review.
What we are not
Edge LAW prepares documents and gives legal information. It is not a law firm, it does not represent you in a dispute, and it does not file your return with the NBR. Where you need representation, the consultation marketplace connects you with an advocate.
Edge LAW prepares documents and gives legal information. Not a substitute for legal advice in a dispute.
